The Transverse Crosswalk provides a through passage directly behind the cab. This location provides a smoother ride for the firemen and keeps the firemen close to driver for verbal instructions. With the through passageway, the firemen have access to either side of the truck without dismounting the apparatus.

Optional seats and seat belts can be added for additional safety.
